The next step is to put the project proposal to the XML committers (and then the PMC) to get them to vote. That can take time (we will need at least a week with the committers and then we need a unanimous vote from the PMC - I really need to do something about this process!!!!). So to kick it off, I need to put something to general and PMC that indicates the xml-security sub-project has voted and is comfortable. I'd also like to agree a name :>. So - if everyone could vote +1, +0, -0 or -1 for the proposal as detailed at http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi?XMLProjectPages/OpenSSLJCEProposal (Note I have added details around the certificate to the page.)
