Does apache have a standard for due diligence to avoid name collisions or does everybody just have to like the name? There are other software projects/products called "juice", but I can't find any that are crypto-related. If we just have to agree, then I'm +1 for "JuiCE".
I don't think there are any standards for picking names. Enough people have to look at it for approval and if there are any really obvious problems they hopefully noticed before implementation.
During my quick search the only other open source package called juice I could find was at sourceforge, which is a Mac OsX blogger package with one admin and nothing in CVS as of yet.
So I don't think we have anything to worry about on that front.
+1 for me on JuiCE.
