There is are XPath and XSLT transforms, but that's as close as the xml-sig spec gets. In theory it should be possible to specify a new transform that uses xquery to extract data from an xml document and then put that data into a form that it could be signed.

Is there something you want to do with XQuery that you can't do with XPath or XSLT transforms?

Cheers,
        Berin
