Hi, I'm the author of the PKCS11-Provider of the opensc project http://opensc-project.org I've written the PKCS11 provider, because SUN's soultion is not satifying (no support for Linux/x86_64 as of java 1.5 and other problem...). You might try it out. It' open source, so you might track your problem at your own or get feedback by me.
