I appreciate the suggestion Assaf. It would indeed be useful for Tor users of commandline and text-based browsers to have this option. Additionally, git users can do the following over Tor, and (AFAIK) simultanously escape CloudFlare and all the compromises CloudFlare entails: $ torsocks git clone git://git.gnuradio.org/gnuradio Unfortunately, all the security and freedom problems still remain, as there is documentation that is excluded from the tarball and the git clone operation.
