There is typo/mismatch (Joep Vesseur from Sun pointed this out too) with the name of the profile (App Management versus App Log Management) in /etc/security/prof_attr and /etc/security/exec_attr. I have fixed this issue but I still have the same error...
$ pfexec ppriv -De /u01/apps/bin/logLvl ppriv[6658]: missing privilege "file_dac_execute" (euid = 2000, syscall = 59) needed at ufs_access+0x3c ppriv: /u01/apps/dncs/bin/logLvl: Permission denied Why is logLvl running with euid=2000?
