Thank you for replying to my posts.
In fact, I overlooked the point that your instructions implied SunStudio to be
used instead of gcc.
However, in the end I got pcscd up and running. One mistery: which files does
the daemon logs its messages to? Not to syslog, seemingly....
Regarding the other link you suggested: in the last few days,the
lists.drizzle.com site has been unreacheable from here, as if it was down. Can
you reach that site?
This is what I tried: copying the pcscd shell script (which can ben found in
the pcsc-lite source folder) to /etc/init.d does not work, because that script
relies on an additional external script ("functions") that I am not finding
around...
