Has anyone succesfully used SHA passwords on Solaris ( setting /etc/security/policy.conf's default to 5 or 6 ) ? It didn't work for me and I ended up locked out of my machine for a while.
Initially I thought it was something I had done but talking to someone else on IRC it seems as though it might be a bug somewhere. Just thought I'd ask before I file a bug on it -JohnS
