you mean files /usr/sfw/lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.8 and
/usr/sfw/lib/libssl.so.0.9.8 are missing??? I find it very hard to
believe... You wouldn't be able to install the system without them.
extra libs are something else, they are filtees.

I thinkg SUNWcry* packages should be in update S10 4 be default, and
separate extra stuff is going away from Nevada very soon, and finally
everything will be in libssl and libcrypto.
