A large portion of the functionality JASS provides *is* already incorporated in OpenSolaris in the form of the Secure by Default project. See http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/security/projects/sbd Beyond disabling services, many of the individual settings that JASS configures have been and continue to be incorporated into OpenSolaris over time. See, for example, the ongoing discussion about moving root's home directory to /root. Scott
