Yes.

Follow the instructions at:

http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/jds/contributing/building/

to set up your build environment 

or look at:

http://blogs.sun.com/mattman/entry/how_to_build_jds_on

if you are running opensolaris and not nevada.

Then simply run:

$ pkgtool --download build-only SUNWtgnome-*.spec 

from your spec-files directory.

This will build new packages based on the latest released tarballs.

If you want THE very latest code from SVN you will need to check out the
code from svn.opesolaris.org and either compile from there or make dist
new tarballs to use with pkgtool above. Let me know if thats really what
you want to do.
