This is one thing I really like about JASS.  There are things that
make sense for many people before Sun decides that it is the right
thing to do.  For example, Finish/set-root-home-dir.fin has a
timestamp of 2005.  It hasn't been until 2008 that this bold step has
made it into the development branch of Solaris. By all indications
will be at least 2010 before it makes it into a supported release of
Solaris.  I bet that the type of folks that run JASS would be willing
to be guinea pigs for this step forward now so that maybe in five
years it can have a strong enough track record to become the default.
