Note that there are two levels of contributor status - contributor and
core contributor - only the first is needed for access to cr.opensolaris.org
(and that can be fixed as discussed elsewhere by the simple application of
 manpower to help the volunteer running that site implement another
 authentication mechanism - something this community seems especially suited
 for).

Granting core contributor status is supposed to recognize a long-term level
of involvement, not just a few putbacks, and also makes the person a member
of the OpenSolaris voters for community-wide elections - overpacking this list
with people who will not vote, but will count against the total number of
votes needed for a majority vote, is a Denial of Service attack on the voting
system, so please consider wisely if you need to grant Core Contributor
status or just Contributor status.
