Hello, I have been using the rights profile of 'Primary Administrator' for some time now so that I can use pfexec appropriately, like root. After the last upgrade from snv_109->114 I found that I had to install SUNWwbcor to get the Primary Administrator back. However, after the snv_117 upgrade the SUNWwbcor package is already installed. The 'Primary Administrator' does appear to be a valid attribute now. Same problem persists with upgrade to 119.
Yet pfexec does not work properly for me. I must continually su to accomplish things that I could use pfexec for prior to the upgrade. Any suggestions as to what is wrong? >From /etc/user_attr: myloginuser::::type=normal;profiles=Postgres Administration,Primary Administrator;roles=root, postgres % profiles myloginuser myloginuser: Postgres Administration Primary Administrator Console User Suspend To RAM Suspend To Disk Brightness CPU Power Management Network Autoconf Desktop Removable Media User Network Wifi Info Basic Solaris User All % cat /etc/security/exec_attr: Primary Administrator:suser:cmd:::*:uid=0;gid=0 Thanks, Aric p.s. I posted this to desktop at first without reply, then realized that security would be the best place for help. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
