Audit would be WRONG.  If the second human is now at the keyboard and 
mouse actions should be audited as them not the original human that 
logged in.

I'm surprised you got that far.

What are you really trying to do here ?

Why is it necessary to not have to log out ?
Why is it necessary to switch the uid/gid of existing processes ?

BTW what you have done is completely unsupportable and I'm surprised the 
only issue you saw was in the screen unlock working correctly (but not 
as you had hoped).
