Sorry...Sorry...Sorry...I screwed-up an entry in /etc/user_attr SPARC (Sol10u1) and x86 (SXDE:02/07). Not supposed to use "auths" in account with default login shell of /sbin/pfsh.
I believe the correct way would have been $ pfexec gedit, in account with default shell of /bin/bash with "auths" defined in /etc/user_attr. As you say...This works perfectly well in both environments: /etc/passwd kuhnkem:x:100:1501:Primary Admin:/export/home/kuhnkem:/bin/pfsh /etc/user_attr: kuhnkem::::profiles=Primary Administrator;type=normal Amazing how well something performs when used correctly.....
