Florin,

What about ADSL/PPPoE? I've got a 2.6.5 kernel to work
using the same config I had before (speedtouch user
mode drivers, plus the hacks I put at my page [0]),
but some people have also reported that the kernel
mode driver would now work, if one got br2864ctl to
compile. I never managed (only with kernel 2.4.x).
The main change from the procedure I have on my page I
made was to remove "alias tap0 ..." from
/etc/modules.conf, and using tap0 in the pppoe
(adsl-setup) configuration. I still had to edit
speedtouch.sh to launch pppoa3 configured for pppoe,
etc.
Anyway, if I had the time I'd change that hack a bit,
using variables for VCI/VPI, etc.
What I really want to ask, after all these ramblings,
is if will MNF now ship with support for pppoe with
the speedtouch, and if you want me to test it?
