Hi Hernan,
If you allow all traffic (ports) from the client to the WAN (eliminate the
FW from equation) does the FTP work? Also if you disable the proxy are you
able to surf (to test MASQ rule).

Best regards,
Patrick

Subject: [7] [Security Firewall] MNF: LAN->WAN FTP acces problem

Hi Patrick,

I've just updated MNF two days ago, the problem was
before that. I thinking about installing Ethereal to
analyze traffic over the firewall NICs (I'm using
iptraf, but as I can4t filter captured packets, is a
whole mess watching all the traffic of my LAN :) ),
but seem that I've to install XFree and a KDE o Window
Maker, is that right??

Regards,

Hernan
