Carl, What do the logs say? Also, you will not be able to access the internet if you stop the firewall. The firewall is what creates the connection between the interfaces.
Have a great day and Happy New Year to you too. :) Jim -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Carl A Jeptha Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2005 6:31 AM To: MNF2 Mandrake Subject: [Security Firewall] Computer not acessing the internet Hi, Happy New Year to everybody. I am trying to return to the MNF world but appear to be having a problem with my setup. I am able to administer the box from either side (lan/wan), but it reports that we have no internet and I have confirmed this. It appears that the Firewall is locked up tight. I have though changed the default policies to ACCEPT all. I've stopped the the Firewall. And so on and so on. I know I have forgotten something, that I should know from way back when. -- You have a good day now, Carl A Jeptha http://www.airnet.ca office 905 372-6416 pager 905 377-6900 fwd # 94518 skype cajeptha
