Hi, 

you were right about this ...

3 packages had wrong entries in their logrotate files:
DansGuardian, snort and squidGuard

the sh -x /etc/cron.daily/logrotate as root now works ... so the
cron.daily should be able to be fired aswell 

can you please confirm this ?
