Opening #1 iPlanet Implementor
Needs to be expert in setting up, configuration and operation of the following iPlanet components; open portal server, messaging, ldap and subscription services. The position will initially be to support the deployment of the solution and engineer the hooks for client to monitor the platform this will require detailed understanding of error conditions and how iPlanet reacts in large production configuration. *** Experience of Sunfire servers (including 6800) and Solaris 8 is a essential requirement. Also previously deployed/support systems with large numbers of users at least into the tens and/or hundreds of thousands (we will be at 2million for this system). Veritas experience a plus. (Client won't even look at someone who does not have the 6800 and Solaris 8 experience.) *** Position will probably include minimal travel to New Jersey and Philadelphia. Will be based in Chantilly. Opening #2 Short-term contractor need (8-10 weeks) for implementation for NASDAQ-like banking company in Ashburn. My client is a sub to a system implementer. My client is managing the security aspect. Could extend beyond 8-10 weeks, but no guarantee. This position will report immediately to my client manager, who will be the implementation manager and will be responsible for the network intrusion detection aspect of the implementation. The contractor will be responsible for the host intrusion detection aspect of the implementation which will initially be across ~ 40 servers. Required skills include: - Enterasys Dragon Squire (host intrusion detection tool) - Windows 2000 - Trusted Solaris (see below) Looking to interview immediately with expected start date by Weds/Thurs of next week (if not sooner).
