Position Title: Network Developer III
Responsibilities/Overview of Position:
� Design and implement Internet/e-Commerce Security architecture to
protect web-enabled applications and services against unauthorized
physical & logical access
� Define and document security performance objectives, policies and
standards
� Coordinate enterprise-wide risk assessments and develop risk
mitigation plans
� Evaluate and select security-related products
� Direct third-party e-Commerce Security service providers (vendors,
contractors, etc.)
� Perform capacity/performance analysis of e-Commecerce Security
infrastructure
� Develop, coordinate and communicate technical response to e-Commerce
Security issues and defects
� Mentor Network Developers in analysis, design, and implementation
of competencies
� Lead and execute mid-to large-scale e-Commerce Security projects
� Provide security expertise for company-wide projects and implement
technologies that would benefit secure business growth
Education/Skills/Experience Required:
� Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or curriculum completion from
technical institute preferred
� 4+ years experience with: Check Point firewalls; VPN; intrusion
detection; network monitoring; vulnerability scanning; data encryption;
Web/proxy servers; and Internet content filtering solutions
� 3+ years experience with LAN/WAN technology
� 3+ years experience with IP, routers, and load balancing technology
� 2+ years experience with Nokia security appliances
� 2+ years experience with UNIX and Windows NT 4/2000 server
� 2+ years experience with scripting languages such as PERL, shell
(Bourne, C), VBScript, etc.
� 2+ years experience in project management and leadership
� Excellent conceptual and analytical problem solving abilities required
� Must be a self-motivated leader
