Hello I am looking for an IT Security Administrator to be based in Central London, UK
Salary c�35K plus package My client is one of the UKs leading investment organisations. They are now looking for an additional IT Security Administrator to work with the Security Manager in the management and monitoring of infrastructure and software security as well as disaster recovery planning. Responsible for the escalation of Security and Data Recovery issues to the IT Security Manager as and when necessary your duties and responsibilities will include to; - Assist with the monitoring of IT Security to ensure that existing systems and technology comply with the IT Security Policy. (VMS, NT, NetWare and OS400) - Carry out periodic review of all current user access with business managers - Monitor use of systems outside of normal office hours - Monitor exceptional / emergency use of supervisor or highly privileged accounts and data management tools - Identify security violations and escalate them to the Security Manager - Liaise with internal & external audit and any other as and when required - Administer internet policy with respect to www browsing and internet email - Involvement in small projects and/or assisting with larger projects - Assist with monitoring for use of unlicensed software - Escalate any Data Recovery issues to the IT Security manager and/or Operations Manager as appropriate - Liaise with departmental managers to identify business Data Recovery requirements - Liaise with the IT Security Manager and Operations Manager to ensure that Data Recovery arrangements meet business requirements - Administer IT Data Recovery plans and business plans (keeping corporate documentation up to date) - Assist with risk assessment exercises - Assist with periodic Disaster Recovery tests If you are already eligible to work in the UK and the above sounds like you, please email me your CV and I will contact you to discuss further.
