Hi

Security Practice Managing Consultant, Surrey, UK

Salary to £90K +package (OTE c£130K)

I am looking for a Managing Consultant to head up a new information security
practice with a main focus on public sector clients. Working for this
successful management consultancy you will be responsible for the
development and management of information security consultancy projects.
Operating at the most senior levels within client organisations ranging in
size and sophistication, you must be able to build effective professional
relationships within public sector accounts. Excellent influencing,
interpersonal and communication skills are required, together with
commercial acumen and analytical skills. The ability to deal with large
volumes of data and bring a lateral approach to problem solving is also
essential.

Consulting projects typically involve solving a broad range of strategic and
process-related problems and will vary according to client needs. The range
of assignments may include:

        ·       Management of information security integration projects;
        · Coordinate the consulting activities of other members of the
firm and third party solutions firms;
        · Due diligence regarding various business partnerships,
alliances and other relationships; and
        · Other consultancy reviews and activities.

Typically projects will involve analysing client operations, resourcing the
projects as well as establishing and managing projects and processes.
Follow-on assignments, may involve re-design or improvement of processes or
project management of implementations.

This role will require you to not only build a team, but resource and manage
mixed teams alongside other practice areas. Travel within the UK is highly
likely, and you must be prepared to work away for extended periods of time.

You will have experience of the full assignment. These tasks may include
developing strategic business plans, developing the business, proposal
generation, planning and managing fieldwork, quality assurance, staff
development, tracking budgets on individual assignments and achieving
targets.

You will be expected to take project management responsibility (proposals,
staff, quality, time and budget) after a period of familiarisation with the
company environment.

The development of the business (training, methodology, marketing, and
research) is a key aspect of the role and objectives typically cover the key
areas described below:

        - Business Development
        - Project Management
        - People Development
        - Practice Development
        - Industry Focus

If you have a background of management consultancy within public sector
accounts, are already eligible to work in the UK and the above sounds like
you, please email me your CV and I will contact you to discuss further.

Kind regards
Julie
