Job Summary:
This role first consists of taking apart virus code to
analyze and fully understand their behaviors. This
research part will specifically target the infection
method of each viral class and subclass, as well as a
wide scope of viral payloads.
The second part of the role consists of writing viruses
to ‘break’ the system and become an expert on
analysis of viruses. This role will develop into
handling security at network level, malicious code
defense and similar security items.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of computer architecture
- Knowledge of Windows internals
- Expertise with x86 assembly language
- Programming experience with C/C++ in a
Windows environment
- Reverse engineering experience
- Working knowledge of disassemblers and
debuggers
- Ability to work in a team of 20 people in a
high-paced environment
- Ability to establish and follow project plans
and requirements
Plus excellent verbal and written communications to
interpret, analyze and contribute to the system
software specification.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of computer viruses, worms
and trojans
Demonstration of the above listed skills will be by a
solid degree in computer science, followed by
extensive experience in system software
development. A proven track record may be
substituted for any of the above.
