Mid-size company looking to grow its small but established security team. Stable work environment. Assist in securing corporate computing environment. Assist in formulating vision, strategy, and policies to maintain proper security practices, balancing risks with the ability to do business. Perform day-to-day duties such as activity monitoring, administration of current security systems, and longer-term tasks like deployment of new security tools and systems, risk analysis, vulnerability testing and incident response. Promote security awareness within the organization. Must be willing to respond quickly to incidents 24X7 (rotating schedule). Requirements o Strong interest in computer/network security. Understands that good security is a business attribute. Experience or demonstrated knowledge of computer and network security concepts and practices. o Experience with Windows NT/2000 and UNIX o Good blend of technical and people skills. Works well individually and in a team environment.
