Our client, a well-known, highly-regarded government/military partnering firm has 3 interesting Information Security positions available: Project Leader; Modeling/Simulation Engineer; and Development Engineer Project Leader: The successful candidate for this position will: * Provide Systems Engineering support and project leadership. * Work with military commands to expand client’s role in Information Assurance. * Provide systems security engineering support to all clients. * Translate high-level functional requirements and concepts into programs and technical requirements. * Aid in technical decision making in the research, development, and deployment of Information Security Systems. * Provide technical and project leadership for IO programs. * Interface with client and sponsor program managers. Skills/Experience Required: * MS/EE or equivalent, combination of education and professional experience. * Good organizational skills, ability to interact with professional technical staff, ability to work independently. * At least 5 years related experience. * C41 related military experience, along with background in Information Security and 2 or more years experience with military Information Operations desired. Modeling/Simulation Engineer: In this position, the successful candidate will: * Participate and lead modeling and simulation efforts related to securing large computer networks. * Participate and lead development of large-scale network models and analysis of results. * Determine requirements and approaches for modeling simulation of large networks. * Define approaches/techniques for verification and validation of network models. * Document and present results. Skills/Experience Required: * BS degree in Math, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field. * Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. * Familiarity with networking protocols. * Demonstrated programming ability. * Strong statistical background, demonstrated ability to lead 2-5 person team, and demonstrated experience with modeling and simulation networks desired. Development Engineer: The successful candidate in this position will: * Support development and deployment of state of the art security technologies/solutions. * Implement and evaluate state of the art security technology enabling multiple levels of security on a single workstation. * Develop and implement prototype rapid-response failure detection mechanisms to ensure integrity of system security. * Devise approaches to securely establishing and dis-establishing dynamic coalitions. * Present results to sponsors; properly document all work. Skills/Experience Required: * BS or equivalent degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or related field and approximately 2-7 years related experience. * Good organization skills, ability to interact professionally with a variety of people, ability to work independently. * Technical background in Information Security, C, Matlab, and knowledge of network protocols desired.
