System Administration on linux firewall/webserver systems. Responsible for
information security , maintaining firewalls and monitoring traffic.
Implemented bandwidth shaping via iproute2 package and IPSEC VPN via FreeSWAN
software.
Baudry Cybernomics (June-August 2001)
Summer position involving general systems work with Windows 2000.
Participated in the deployment of Citrix Metaframe servers, modernization and
securing of linux gateway/firewall and eradication of the Sircam virus at the
head quarters of the Arthritis Society of Canada . Implemented a test IPVPN
network with the FreeSWAN package for linux. Participated in numerous
emergency works including 4am war against the Sircam virus, emergency
rerouting of PPTP VPN traffic (via personal linux workstation) due to
unscheduled downtime of ISP's RADIUS server.
Shatin College (1998-2001)
Founding member of school Web team. Worked closely with senior management at
school on the development and deployment of school website and improvement to
school networks. Was directly responsible for the deployment of Linux based
server and firewall. Administrated the day to day running of servers.
