HIPAA Compliance Officer Seattle -90K We are searching for a senior security professional who has the ability to interpret and implement the recent HIPAA legislation across all departments. This will involve development of all policies and procedures related to HIPAA and all consequent regulations involved in their(clients) data security thereafter.
You will be working with DBA'a/ Admins/ auditors/ and overseeing an existing HIPAA team. You will be required to conduct security awareness training and advisory for new and existing employees as well as mentoring those reporting to you. You must be able to speak technically as well as non tech for the applicable parties involved in each step of the process. We are looking for local candidates to the Puget Sound (Seattle) region initially. This is a very team oriented and liberal environment.
