Hi,

I have recently completed an MSc in Information Security, and am now looking
for graduate/junior positions in Security, particularly in the area of
Cryptography and/or PKI. I have written my dissertation on Trust Models in
PKI, where I not only looked at several trust models currently being
considered and applied, but I also provided an interesting survey about
different proposed trust metrics.
The MSc provided me with a strong foundation in all aspects of Information
Security, covering areas such as Cryptography, Standards and Evaluation
Criteria, Network Security, Computer Security, Database Security, and
Security Management.

Prior to this I have completed a BSc and an MSc in Mathematics, providing me
with a sound mathematical foundation in many of the areas encountered in
Cryptography. As part of my BSc degree I have taken classes in Programming,
Databases and Software Engineering.

I would be open to positions both in Europe and the U.S. However I would
require a work permit for the U.S.
I would also be open to longer internships in the U.S. if the position is a
good match. If this is the case I would be able to obtain a J-1 visa,
allowing me to work legally within the U.S. for up to eighteen months. I
will be visiting California in the next month, and may be available for
interviews within the U.S. at that time.

Upon request I can provide recommendations from some of the worlds premier
cryptographers.

Here is a brief summary of my skill set:

Familiar with different types of Ciphers including Stream and Block Ciphers.
Conventional Cryptography including DES and Rijndael (AES).
Public-Key Cryptography including RSA, El Gamal and Digital Signatures.
Understanding of Elliptic Curve Cryptography.
Good knowledge the most widely used security standards.
Familiar with various applications that use cryptography including
Authentication
Protocols, Key Establishment Protocols and Public Key Infrastructures (PKI).
Understanding of Linear and Differential Cryptanalysis.

Please email for CV/Resume.

Thank you, Indra Liem
