FYI, as someone who has spent five years in the Middle East and in Saudi
Arabia in particular:

Approx. the 1st $70,000 ONLY, is tax-free.  The rest you pay.

In the KSA, you play by their laws.  No drinking, no movie theaters, no
bars, etc.

The KSA can be a very good place to live, work, and make friends, but it
is not a place for people who have never travled outside the U.S. and
Europe before.
