* Responsibilities: The Director of Managed Security Services is responsible for delivering managed network security services to the Company's customers. Responsibilities include managing a 24/7 staff of Network Security Engineers (NSEs) and handling escalated network security and customer service issues related to managed firewall, intrusion detection, and anti-virus systems. The Director of Managed Security Services will work closely with in-house software development teams to continue to improve the quality, breadth, and efficiency of managed network services product lines. * Requirements: This position requires someone able to participate actively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Proven network support management skills are essential, as are hands-on technical expertise and a "nuts and bolts" understanding of network security issues. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of firewalls and intrusion detection systems, and will demonstrate a broad competence regarding network security threats and countermeasures. Candidates with a general aptitude and passion for technology will be preferred, as will those with substantial experience with open-source software.
