Primary Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this person are for the hands-on technical engineering and support of a large Netegrity Siteminder, iPlanet UUM (PKI and Directory Server) and Enterprise Server, and WebSphere solution. The person would be the expert solution engineer with a focus on security. He would primarily be responsible for resolution of tough meaty technical problems requiring great product and general solution savvy. This person would have technical responsibilities for an environment that includes high availability configurations and clusters, load balancers, EMC storage, multiple locations, directory replication between servers and sites, a very large PKI. Though the majority of the work is with Netegrity and iPlanet UUM, and WebSphere the person would be responsible for several other security engineering tasks including: - Security of the perimeter, which consists of the firewalls, remote access, and customer and partner extranet, - Solaris and application security hardening, and - LDAP replication between sites. We are looking for strong security minded people who enjoy hands-on work to work in a very technical security minded workplace. There are no management responsibilities to this position, though the person will be expected to manage their own workload.
