2 immediate positions in the Austin area: Sr. Embedded Engineer-requirements include: 5+ years with C/C++ and VxWorks; strong understanding of TCP/IP; scanning tools, like NMAP and NESSUS; work without supervision; good teamwork skills; minimum of a BS, EE or CS. This person will design and develop embedded applications involving potential security vulnerabilities; integrate with embedded firewall and intrusion detection applications. Security Test Engineer-If you are a programmer or hacker focused on cracking security devices, you are encouraged to apply. Looking for extensive work with SNORT and other intrusion detection systems; 2+ years of hands-on testing firewalls, virus suppression; expert knowledge of Unix and Windows security issues; worked with systems such as Openview, Tivoli, etc. and familiarity with SNMP. Also, 3 years test experience in the networking industry; experience with firewalls like Cisco PIX and Checkpoint's VPN-1/FireWall-1; experience writing test scenarios and procedures; familiar with standard lab equipment.
