$85-95K Information Security Manager Medford, OR We are currently looking for an information security manager for an internationally backed IT integrator/operations company in Medford, OR; that's halfway between San Francisco and Portland, OR. The role would span about five states and 300 servers and have two direct reports initially. You will be reporting to the VP of Systems Operations who works directly with the CTO.
The technical environment includes mainframes, HP, SUN, AIX, and MS OS. This is more of a policy/ procedural role in which you'll be responsible for accurate and complete business requirements, analysis, design, testing, training, implementation and post review of maintenance and modifications to existing information security systems. This will include assessing and shoring up current vulnerabilities, making recommendations in the acquisition of security software and equipment to meet the needs of the corporation and project management and budget preparedness. You will also be in charge of a information security steering committee.
