Our client, a large manufacturing company is seeking a self-motivated individual to lead a segment of a Security team. The position of Manager of Security is based out of Freeport, IL. Requirements for the position include: -A 4-year degree in Computer Science. -5-7 years progressive experience in a technical IT security role, and a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory security role. -Certification in GAIC, SSCP and/or CISSP is required. -Candidates should have an in-depth knowledge of RACF, but knowledge of ACF2 or Top-Secret can potentially be substituted. -Candidates must be able to demonstrate working knowledge in the areas of AS/400, RS/600, Sun, MS-Windows, NT and web-based platform security. -Preferred candidates will have a strong familiarity with various levels of application security and also must possess experience in developing written security policies and procedures. -Candidates should possess strong analytical and developmental skills as well as excel in effective communication.
