This position involves managing a staff of 10 security professionals responsible for all systems and network security. As a result of the extensive growth this company is experiencing, there are some very positive challenges awaiting the arrival of the new manager. From a career progression perspective, the next step up the ladder is the Chief Security Officer level. In addition to being responsible for the development, execution and on going evaluation of all processes related to IS Security Infrastructure you will be developing and growing your core security staff. Job requirements: 6-8 years experience in all aspects of leadership/management and in depth knowledge of security technologies. Exposure to a wide variety of computer platforms and technologies (i.e. Unix, NT, Web, LDAP, DBMS, Intrusion Detection, Firewalls, Remote access solutions and Proxy Servers). Experience in administrative management of two or more teams of associates. Experience in goal setting and strategic planning. Ability to lead multiple large and complex projects simultaneously. Ability to review and resolve high level issues and make decisions and escalate issues as appropriate.
