Hi All: We are looking to find a strong candidate to fill Security Engineer Position in Philly, PA.
Salary: Full time position with 110k plus with Benefits Job Decription: The Security Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing data security systems that will provide detection, prevention, containment and deterrence mechanisms to protect and maintain the integrity of data files throughout the firm. Responsibilities Refines and implements the current data security plan according to established timelines. Develops and maintains policy and procedures that are designed to protect designed computer programs, databases and data files from unauthorized or accidental duplication, modification or destruction. Establishes and maintains correct access rules defining who has access to which data sets under what circumstances. Recommends specific improvements to security and internal control and follows up on all recommendations. Qualifications A solid understanding of: UNIX-based operating system, paging and swapping, inter-process communications, devices and device driver functions, and file system concepts Familiarity with fundamentals of etworking/distributed computing environment concepts ability to configure NFS and NIS, experience with nslookup or dig to check information in DNS, understanding of basic routing concepts Demonstrated strong problem solving experience, and experience with snoop/tcpdump or equivalent in IP environment Prior experience Building Firewalls VPN experience a plus Strong O/S, NT, UNIX, Network Routing skills are required 3-5 years of previous systems administration experience in UNIX, NT and networking 1-2 years in Data Security systems required Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to work successfully on a team and have consensus building skills BS degree or equivalent experience is required Financial or Government Industry experience required Please submitt resume in word format along with you contact number so I can arrange for an interview Regards; Scott email:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Fax (719) 466-7464 http://www.nto.cc
