Hi All: We are looking for strong candidate to fill Security Engineer Position for a Financial Institution in Jersey City, NJ. Candidate needs to have both GIAC and CISSP Certifications along strong experience in Intrusion Detection and Forensics.
Salary: Full time position with 90k plus with Benefits and Bonuses Job Description This person's main concern will be to respond to and investigate attacks on the Network by hackers or someone internally violating security protocol. Responsibilities: Responding to all system incident(attacks by hackers or internal violations of protocol) investigations. Collecting evidence and maintain chain of custody records. Conducting extensive forensic (investigation procedure) analysis. Developing detailed reporting methods and procedures. Evaluating new forensic(investigation procedure) technology and methods. Maintaining current industry standard forensic certifications and methodologies. Requirements: Hands on application of forensic tools such as: Encase, Safeback, FTK, etc. Hands on application of server side NT LAN Technical skills with desktop PC's and UNIX systems. Hands on application of backup media such as Sony PC Backer II, 4mm tape. Hands on application of reading and analyzing IIS, FW, Router and Proxy logs. Malware such as: viruses, trojans, worms and other exploits, etc. E-mail issues such as: spamming, spoofing, highjacking, etc. Ability to liaison with Federal, State and local Law Enforcement when necessary; Prior Law Enforcement experience is a plus. 5+ years of network/systems forensics; Certifications in GIAC and CISSP required If all the above requirements are meet.
