NETWORK ENGINEER � Candidate will have knowledge of DoD Information Assurance policies and optical network systems to support Certification and Accreditation engineering reviews of ESONET Services. INFORMATION ASSURANCE ANALYST � Candidate will have knowledge of physical security requirements for telecommunications and computer facilities and specific experience with the security aspects of business continuity. Candidate will be working on a Mainframe system, MVS OS 390 and must have experience on Sun Microsystems and with a Trusted Facility operation. TECHNICAL WRITER � Candidate will be working on a team with Network Security/Information Assurance Analysts and Engineers. Candidate will be designing and developing documentation for Certification and Accreditation efforts that are currently underway on a Disaster Recovery task. Requirements: 3-5 years of government technical writing experience Information Security experience desired but not required BS degree Position is located in Springfield/Newington, VA. SYSTEM DESIGN SECURITY OFFICER � Candidate will support an enterprise- level IA program for a large Federal customer requiring extensive experience in system security design, security practices and IA tools. Environment supported is MVS with world wide distributed access through LAN/WAN. Candidate will have knowledge in software development with a strong knowledge and experience in the security background. Strong communication and coordination skills and an ability to interact and negotiate with clients and developers in reference to requirements are necessary. Candidate must possess the ability to communicate security concepts to diverse audiences and translate them into the particular context of applications. Candidate will ensure that an IS security analysis is conducted to determine appropriate security requirements during the design stage of an application and that the IS design meets a specified set of security requirements including the implementation of an adequate audit trail capability of security-related activities as prescribed by the client Candidate will assist developers in ensuring that IS security requirements for all applications comply with all laws and regulations and that requirements are appropriate and sufficient and ensure that IS security plans are developed for all other documentation required and that the application is certified.
