Role Description ================ The role has two components: 1. Research ----------- Reverse engineering malicious code to analyze and fully understand their behaviors. This research specifically targets the replication process of different viral classes and subclasses. 2. Engineering -------------- Involves providing technical guidance to other software engineers and implementing detection logic for our anti-virus software. Required Skills =============== - Knowledge of Windows internals - Expertise with x86 assembly language - Programming experience with C/C++ in a Windows environment - Reverse engineering experience with industry-standard tools - Excellent verbal and written communications - Ability to work in a team of 20 people in a dynamic environment - Ability to establish and follow project plans and requirements - Ability to interpret, analyze and contribute to the software specification Desirable Skills ================ - Knowledge of computer viruses, worms and trojans - Knowledge of AI: Probabilistic Reasoning, Machine Learning, Expert Systems Demonstration of the above skills should be accompanied by a solid degree in Computer Science, and by 4-5+ years experience in software development.
