SECNAP Network Security, a rapidly growing, pre-IPO full service network security company has immediate need for Information Security Engineers.

Information Security Engineers will be responsible for providing technical expertise working independently and/or with other engineers and help clients assess, evaluate, and improve the security posture of their information systems environment. The successful candidates will also be involved in delivering strategic security solutions designed to help manage the risks involved with applying technology to business endeavors. Some of these services provided include: Vulnerability Assessment, Secure IT Architecture and Design, Incident Response and Computer Forensic Analysis as well as ongoing security monitoring. Seeking an individual with strong Unix background. Position requires up to 30% travel, all candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while managing multiple projects and meeting daily production deadlines. U.S. citizenship may be required for some positions. All employees must submit to a background and drug tests. Required Skills The successful candidate shall possess the following: Must have strong technical skills in Unix and a number of the following competencies: Win32, Cisco IOS, Netware, TCP, UDP, IP, IPX, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS, NetBIOS, shell scripting, Perl, C, Java, SSL, PKI, IPSec, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, Authentication, various Security Tools, etc. (CISA, CISSP, CCIE, a plus) Should be familiar with information security principles and best practices (e.g. boundary protection, I&A, etc). BS/BA CS or EE preferred. 3 or more years of technical experience required, including at least 2 years in security services. Fortune 500 experience a plus.
