1)Need an Engineer for Oracle Application Server Must have specific expertise in Oracle Application Server
Must have Web server experience Load balancing experience Clustering Hi-level recovery Person will be doing: Installation, Configuration,Troubleshooting,Deployment & General Administration of Oracle Application server Will work with Development teams as the primary contact to support their applications, advise on utilization and load balancing Production support duties\ please note* need the right resource work will be done in DC with some travel to No. VA. This is not a DBA position, although these folks can come from that background. They can also come from the Development or Unix Sys. Admin. background too. 2)conversion to FTE 3-6 months Application Server Engineer--- Must have: -Candidate should be very strong in WebLogic Administration. -Minimum 2 years experience with WebLogic is needed. -Infrastructure and Unix System administration experience is a must -Good understanding of Internet security -Strong communication skills Plus: -Oracle Application Server would be nice to have -Besides WebLogic 5.1, some exposure with WebLogic 6.1 is a strong plus. -Networking experience is a plus, but not a must. Technical Tasks: Troubleshooting Install and Configure Performance Tuning Research, recommend, and certify solution sets Daily job functions: -Work closely with the application development teams, business users, and other customers to ensure that technology and reliability standards are clearly defined and met in the implementation process. -Provide production support including troubleshooting, problem analysis, and evaluation of alternatives and recommendations, both short and long-term to ensure reliability of internet-based applications. -Not looking for a pure programmer - more of an engineer all candidate are given immediate consideration.
