Location: Greenbelt, MD Job Description: Assess information security needs and risks. Test information security systems by attempting to circumvent security systems. Implement disaster or emergency recovery procedures for information systems and computer environment. Recommend and implement corrective actions. Communicate data and computer security policies and procedures. Coordinate, document, and report on internal investigations of possible security violations. Job Requirements: BS in Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years experience in information security field. -OR- 5 years experience in information security field. Experience using vulnerability scanning tools. Firm understanding of networking fundamentals. Understanding of Operating System architecture. Secret or higher clearance is a plus. Willingness and desire to learn, improve, and contribute. Proactive, productive approach to assigned tasks. Ability to work constructively in a team environment.
