Senior Security Consultant Business Group: Avaya Services (Security Consulting Services) Job Category: Security Consulting; Policy, HIPAA, GLB State/City (US): Continental US Country: United States Job Description: The Avaya Enterprise Security practice is a new and growing security consulting organization within Avaya. We are currently looking for a candidate that has an extensive background in policy development, review, and gap analysis. This position will fulfill the role of being the thought leader in policy analysis and development as it relates to legislative drivers such as HIPAA and GLB, as well as traditional policy requirements. Qualifications: Candidates must have experience with developing general security policy guidelines and policy development as it relates to HIPAA and GLB. Technical experience is also required with IDS technologies, assessment tools using ISS, Satan, Nessus, Nmap, Snort, Axent, and sniffers, IP based firewalls, routing filters, and host level access controls and authentication systems to include SSL, PGP, IPsec, SSH, Radius, Kerberos, SecureID, and TCPWrappers. Additional qualifications include experience with, virtual private networks (VPN), public key infrastructures (PKI). Additional responsibilities could also include security assessments, and network security design for Avaya clients. In addition to the above skills, candidate must have a minimum of 7+ years of security experience in multiple operating systems to include Linux, Windows, Solaris, and BSD. Experience with security architecture and design principles, solid written/verbal skills, and the ability to present to various customer audiences. Minimum BA/BS required. Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
