This position is located in Kansas City it is a 6 month contract for hire position. MUST be willing to relocate. The position will assist in the designing, architecting, and operating the information assurance and security aspect of all work. The employee will be responsible for assisting the Project Leader in coordinating the efforts of subcontractors, team members, and vendors. The Security Architect is responsible for computing architectures that provide:,
�Security to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and high availability for conducting web enabled business, �Security support for new and existing applications in the production, testing, and certification environments., �User authentication and authorization technologies including Netegrity SiteMinder and complementary tools., �Assessing and recommending required skills, knowledge and abilities necessary to operate and maintain security architectures and policies/procedures., �Providing on-the-job training to security staff. BS in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field preferred and 8+ years of related experience. Knowledge of and experience in security computing architectures; Public Key Infrastructure (PKI); Vulnerability monitoring and reporting; Incident response; Single Sign-on Solutions; Biometrics Solutions; and other security technologies. Must be familiar with the CERT process as well as those processes related to security accreditation and certification of systems.
