TITLE:          SENIOR SECURITY ENGINEER - Tier III
TYPE:           Direct Hire

RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Provide Tier III technical support to corporate customers on the 
following security solutions: Checkpoint Firewall � 4.1, NG; Nokia IPSO; 
RSA ACE/Server; and Intrusion PDS.   
� Build-out test environments to resolve complex customer issues and to 
develop solution sets or configuration white papers for customers.
� Act as Tier III technical escalation support for after-hours technical 
support related issues.
� Ability to learn new and emerging technologies to an engineering level 
of detail for future technical support or managed service offerings
� Manage and Monitor customer Firewalls and Intrusion Detection Systems 
adhering to corporate standards relating to change control and Incident 
Response.
� Provide consultation to Managed Services customers regarding 
configuration change requests and event analysis.  
� Prepare detailed reports for Managed Services customers for internal 
management review.

QUALIFICATIONS:
� Successful experience providing high-quality customer service, must be 
100% customer driven
� Strong Troubleshooting/Problem Solving Skills
� Strong Checkpoint Firewall Experience - Consulting background, Technical 
Support or from industry directly managing 10 or more Firewalls
� General Security Knowledge
� Networking
� Windows NT and Unix Server Experience
� Intrusion Detection Experience
� Anti-Virus Administration Experience
� RSA ACE/Server Experience
� Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
� Tactical expertise in designing, implementing, managing and enhancing 
network environments utilizing security technology

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:
� Four year college degree from an accredited institution
� Must have CCSE on Checkpoint 4.1 and NG, CCSE+ on Checkpoint NG is a plus
� CISSP is strongly preferred 
� CCNA preferred, CCNP is a plus
� MCSE is a plus
� RSA Certification is a plus

Ability to be on-call after hours and act as escalation for complex 
troubleshooting scenarios for this position
