Information Security Senior Project Consultant Our job reference #701 Salary $82k - $102k w/ 10% bonus Location: Cleveland, OH
Position Description/Function: Essential Functions: � Provide security-related technology project leadership, support, and consulting across multiple technology platforms. � Review technology project business requirements, assess of security risks, and define security requirements. � Evaluate architecture and design for compliance with security policy and security architecture standards. � Conduct security assessments as part of the security accreditation process for projects. � Assist in the identification and/or review of business requirements where warranted. � Identify, document, and manage security-related project issues to ensure timely resolution. Escalate to senior management as appropriate. � Provide leadership & coaching to junior level Security consultants where warranted. Required Skills � Bachelor degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. � 7 or more years of focused Information Security and/or technology engineering & support experience. � 7 or more years of technology, Information Security and/or risk related management experience. � Ability to assess Information Security Risks, understand Business needs and apply defined Information Security Policies and Architectures in order to develop effective solutions that ensure security compliance and the safety of Company information assets. � Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. � Solid Information Security expertise including authentication, authorization, encryption, audit trail etc. � Solid understanding of IBM Mainframe, UNIX, NT, Network, internet, e-commerce and application technologies. � Solid understanding of technology and security process requirements (project accreditation, project management, etc.) Preferred Skills � Prior project management or consulting experience � CISSP certification Equipment and Software Used: � Standard office equipment � MS Office, Lotus Notes Contact: Jennifer Spadavecchia Alta Associates, Inc.
