We also have a need to fill a Senior Technical Account Manager position. As you may
have noticed from my last posting, Entercept Security Technologies is the leader in

The job description and qualifications for the Senior Technical Account Manager are
below:
Job Responsibilities
-Responsible for tier 2/3 technical guidance of Entercept customers and software
support in an enterprise environment
- Manage product support issues for assigned accounts
- Cover first shift (6:00AM), and be available via pager for after hours support for
critical cases as needed.
-Participate in the creation of new processes and policies to improve efficiency
-Participate in the creation and maintenance of documentation as it pertains to
escalated issues, Knowledge Base articles

- Replicate customer issues in a lab environment
Skills
Required
-Demonstrable information security experience, particularly in the area of intrusion
detection, firewalls, and system vulnerabilities
-An adaptable, multi-tasking self-starter who thrives on troubleshooting, isolating
and duplicating problems and developing workarounds
-Able to understand complex network and server environments
-Highly organized with excellent account management, written and verbal communication
skills. Capable of prioritizing support issues.
Preferred
-Kernel developer or support applications relating to OS kernels: ability to read and
interpret Windows and Unix memory dump files
-MS/SQL 2000 DBA
Experience
Required
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in technical support account management with
enterprise level software for F1000 customers in a high volume environment.
- 3-5 years UNIX (Solaris, HP/UX, AIX, or Linux) system administration experience in
an Enterprise, corporate or service provider production environment.
- 2-3 years Windows NT/2000 system administration experience in an Enterprise,
corporate, or service provider production environment
Proven experience providing first rate customer service.
Preferred
- 4-5 years tier 1 or 2 technical support experience with enterprise level software
for F1000 customers in a high volume environment
- Applicable experience should include some combination of systems administration or
engineering, network operations, customer support, technical support, network
engineering, and programming.
Education
Required
* -BS/BA in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Preferred
-At least one (1) of the following certifications:
* Microsoft MCSE Windows 2000
* UNIX System Administrators Certification for Solaris, AIX, HPUX, or similar
Enterprise UNIX platform
