JOB DESCRIPTION : This consultant will initially conduct a network security assessment including: a.. Prevailing network security policies, procedures and practices b.. Prevailing protection measures including hardware, software and network and make prioritized recommendations for network security improvements. c.. This consultant will develop policies and procedures, and manage the implementation of software and hardware tools, which will allow, with moderate staff resources to perform ongoing network security administration and provide oversight for this function. d.. Consultant will also evaluate a vendor proposal for implementing (vendor managed) firewalls and intrusion detection and make recommendations based on assessment findings. PREFERRED SKILLS a..
